Classrooms and Academic Blocks
IIM Mumbai's classrooms are thoughtfully designed to promote interactive learning. Equipped with modern amenities like overhead projectors and screens, the spacious classrooms provide an environment conducive to participative education.
Auditorium
The institute features a fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 200. Acoustically designed, it serves as a venue for lectures, management film screenings, and executive development programs, ensuring a comfortable and engaging experience.
Hostels
IIM Mumbai has three hostel blocks—Taylor Hall, Gilberth Hall, and Vikram Sarabhai Hall—along with an MDP building for executives. Notably, it boasts the tallest hostel building in the country, with 16 floors accommodating 800 students. Hostels are equipped with modern amenities like lifts, water coolers, washing machines, common rooms, and uninterrupted Wi-Fi. Vending machines on the ground floor provide quick snack options, adding to student convenience.
Sports and Recreation
The campus offers facilities for sports such as badminton, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, carom, and cricket. Hostel common rooms are equipped with televisions, music systems, and leisure reading materials, providing spaces for relaxation and stress relief.
Dining
Mess facilities at IIM Mumbai serve regular meals and snacks, complemented by a campus restaurant and kiosks offering diverse culinary options to cater to varying preferences.
Library and Labs
The institute's well-furnished library houses over 55,000 books, 11,000 periodicals, and 237 technical journals spanning fields like industrial engineering, operations, marketing, finance, and economics. Rich in electronic and printed resources, it provides access to databases like ScienceDirect, EBSCO, and IEEE publications, along with audiovisual materials, case studies, and e-journals. The library is a hub of knowledge, supporting academic and research excellence.
